In the United States, Four Roses Bourbon is available in the following states: KY, NY, NJ, IL, CO, CA, TN, CT, FL, GA, IN, MA,O K, RI, SC, WI, MO, LA, TX, AZ, NC, VA, MN, PA, ME, VT, NH, OH, MI, MD, and KS. As well special ordering in Idaho, Utah, West Virginia, Oregon and Wyoming. In Europe, however, Four Roses is readily available throughout Spain, France and Italy. It is also available in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. In Japan, considering it is the country’s most popular Bourbon, you can find it just about anywhere.

In 1943, Seagram purchased the Frankfort Distilling Co. primarily to acquire the most noted and recognized name in the business at that time – Four Roses Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Seagram, a Canadian corporation, preferred to focus on blended whiskies. So even though Four Roses was the top selling Bourbon in the US in the 30s, 40s and 50s, Seagram made the decision to discontinue the sale of Kentucky Straight Bourbon in the US and sell only blended whiskey here. Four Roses Kentucky Straight Bourbon was moved to the rapidly growing European and Asian markets where it quickly became the top selling Bourbon.

No. When ownership changed in 2002, we stopped the production and sale of blended whiskey to focus our attention exclusively on Four Roses Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Have a sip and I think you’ll agree with our decision 100%.

Absolutely. At our discretion, Four Roses is legally allowed to offer visitors, of legal drinking age, of course, a 1/2-ounce taste of Four Roses Bourbon.
